The first was to Copenhagen in 1935.
A second trip took place in 1950 to Fredricia.
There were three trips in 1984, 1990 and 1994. These were self-arranged tours to instil some enthusiasm in the band and give the members something to aim for. The initial idea came following a visit from representatives of North Berwick, Maine who were celebrating the Sesquicentennial of their town.
The trips include Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire & New York State and parades and performances (including three 4th July parades in one day) were held in various cities, towns, villages and venues of which:
Boston, North Andover, North Berwick, Kennibunk, Old Orchard Beach, Standish, Biddeford, Waterford, Castleton, Burlington, Lake Winnipesaukee and Fort Ticonderoga were a few.
The band has toured here since 2003 parading and performing in many towns and villages around the Cottbus and Forst areas. Initially it started with just the band but after a couple of years the trip included the Dunedin Dance Academy, which expanded the concert impact.

Through the Internationale Folklorelawine the Band were also invited to play at the Forst Cycle Club centenary in 2006 and the Green Festival in Berlin in 2010. These trips also had us playing in Poland in Zielona Gora in 2003 and Guben in 2007 and 2010.
In 2007 the band received an invitation to lead the RBL Parade in Ashington, England to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Falkland Islands Campaign. The main reason for this was that the then President of the Ashington Branch was formerly from a Scottish Regiment and it was felt appropriate to have a pipe band on parade.
The band has joined with the De La Salle Scout Pipe Band to take part in St Patrick’s Day Parades in 2008, 2018 and 2019. Due to members’ work commitments these trips tend to take place when St. Patrick’s Day falls on a weekend.
In 2010 some members of the band were also guesting with the newly formed Pryde of East Lothian Pipe Band. This gave them the opportunity to take part in this event.
2011 saw the band in Northern Portugal, parading and performing in various towns and villages around Viana do Castelo.
2017 saw the band's first tour to Spain with the Dunbar Highland Dancers. The Festival was held in Avilés with evening parades and performances in the festival venue.
Following this link with the Dunbar Highland Dancers we were invited to take part in a series of mini festivals based around Cangas de Onís
Day 1 comprised rehearsals at the accommodation, lunch in Cangas de Onís and an evening performance in Colunga
Day 2 was spent in the Asturias capital Oviedo with an evening parade and performance in the old town area of Llanes
Day 3 was spent in the beach area of Llanes followed by a parade and performance in the old bull market in Porrúa
Day 4 was an earlier start (and finish) with 2 parades and a performance at a cheese festival in Arenas de Cabrales. Late afternoon and evening were spent relaxing in Cangas de Onís
Day 5 – Due to the timing of the departure of the flight the day was spent in Gijón before departing from Asturias airport.
