THE EARLY DAYS
The Burgh Piper - The original piper was employed in the 1740’s. The Band revived this in the late 70’s playing curfew on the harbour wall.

This clip of the band playing in the Lodge Grounds purports to be from 1992. The Pipe Major shown is Richard Fairnie who stood down in 1990 so the clip will be earlier than that.
